"We have been bringing our apples to Angela and Alec for the last 3 years. They make it incredibly easy to organise drop-off of apples and pick up of juice - even with social distancing  restrictions in 2020.
The juice itself is absolutely fabulous; we have never been disappointed with a single bottle and it keeps extremely well.
It makes the hours of picking apples completely worthwhile and we couldn't think of a better use for all our home-grown produce."

After wondering what to do with the huge amount of apples this year I decided to make apple juice and what a good decision it was - after looking around I found Yorkshire Orchards which weren't too far from us and offered a service which was so easy to use, and the 'goldilocks' variety we were pressed from our baking and eating apples is just delicious, so many people have commented how lovely, fresh and how much nicer it tastes compared to shop bought juices and also how lovely the bottles are too.

"We have been using Yorkshire Orchards to juice our apples for the last few years. We take our apples over and in a few days, we have the most delicious apple juice that can last up to 18 months. However, it's usually gone within a few weeks as it's so popular. We drink a lot ourselves, give it to friends as presents. The juice has been very tasty, all our family and visitors love it. We save a few reference bottles to compare the taste from year to year, the juice has kept well, and probably would keep beyond the official BBE date, but it gets drunk before we've had chance to test that theory. We would usually call at Pocklington for a snack, a lovely small town, there's also a picnic area at the canal head just off the main road.
